How can you benefit from New Venture Training? Here are some of the ways...
Guidance in Developing a Business Plan
Businesses benefit by having a business plan – a map – to guide the development and growth of the business. Our 12-week program focuses on the development of a business plan.
Business Management Education
Most people start a business based on their specialized skill or knowledge, most often this doesn’t include business management expertise. Our program fills – or supplements - that gap. Most businesses fail because of the lack of business management skills. Spending 12-weeks to learn – or review – the basics of business management is a small investment to help enhance your chance of success!
Networking Opportunities
Starting and running a business is often done in isolation. Our program gives you the opportunity to meet, learn and exchange ideas with fellow start-up entrepreneurs. Each person can benefit from networking with others.
In addition, you will learn or review the following topics:
- Goal Setting
- Time Management
- Strategic Planning for your business
- Management and Operations for your business
- Financing your business
- Researching the Industry, Target Market, Trade Area and Competition for your business
- Developing your Mission Statement
- Pricing your Products or Services
- Developing your Sales Forecast
- Financial Management aspects for your business
- Project Management
- Legal Components of Business
- And more…
